A Quiet Room
Everybody needs a quiet room.
If not in your house, in your mind.
We go there to calm down, to cleanse our minds, and to reset for the next task.
I visit my room not once, not twice, but as many times as needed throughout the day for a couple of minutes.
"But I can't spend a couple of minutes of my day doing nothing!" - you might think.
A quiet room is a lever.
You spend a minute there and it returns for you many many minutes, even hours, of focus for the next task, meeting, or whatever you have to do.
